So fridge was getting bare what was I going to make for tea, so search the fridge and found some sweet potato and some Brussels sprouts.
These food are both lowgi and really good for depression among many other things.
So my recipe from my #moodfitplan was sliced #brusselsprouts chopped up #sweetpotato fried in a frying pan with #oliveoil #seasalt #garlic and a little water to soften the sweet potato then I added in some #pistachios chopped then to serve add half an #avacado some #pumpkinseeds and #greekyogurt
Best of all my kids loved it and cleared their plates, imagine kids eating brussel sprouts it’s all in how you serve it to them, my kids are increasingly eating more and more veg which they previously would have responded with yuck 🤢
Another great recipe for Brussel sprouts is to fry with #smokedsalmon #walnuts then to serve same as above yum you can even add some bread like a #bagel or #muffin wholemeal preferably and only half great for #breakfast or #tea
