Day 3 new year new you ❤️
When to exercise?
Since I had kids I started to exercise in the morning as when I got home for work it was dark and cold, I was tired and had 2 kids to feed and look after.
So I started exercising in the morning as this was the only time I could fit it in but it also made me feel amazing as I was up early and endorphins put me on a high motivated and ready for work.
Since then I have discovered there are more benefits for your metabolism and in preventing type 2 diabetes
According to Medical News Today
Those who exercise before breakfast burn twice as much fat as those who exercise after eating the same meal. There is a simple reason for this: When people fast overnight, they have lower insulin levels during exercise, allowing their body to use up more fat.
Importantly, while this didn’t have any effect on weight loss, it did dramatically improve their overall health,” notes Dr. Gonzalez.
The muscles of those who exercised before breakfast responded better to insulin, better controlling blood sugar levels in the body. The muscles of those who exercise before breakfast also exhibit bigger increases in certain proteins — especially those responsible for delivering glucose to the muscles.
So this week is all about the morning and getting into good habits to set you up for the day
So drinking 8 glasses of water one when you wake up and also exercising in the morning for at least 20 mins in the morning before breakfast will help you burn more fat.
Tomorrow’s tip is about healthy breakfast options for more energy and better concentration.
